In support of the Mission Statement, the leadership of our church should be fully committed, practicing examples of the goals of the mission statement. The leadership should be focused on directing and facilitating the church's programs, ministries, and activities. All leaders should be active participants in the life of the church. It is vital for the church and its leaders to work in an atmosphere of cooperation and open communication. Sound decisions affecting the church and its available resources of funds, staff, facilities, vehicles, and the like is essential to the continuing spiritual growth and development of Killearn United Methodist Church.
The spiritual plan of the United Methodist Church is designed to facilitate this cooperation. Every chairperson and coordinator has the responsibility of focusing its specific task on accomplishing the goals that will fulfill the church's Mission Statement. Not a task is to be taken lightly. A commitment of time is also required beyond the spiritual commitment to guide our people.
The working church committees and their members are listed for your information. You are encouraged to contact members of these committees to seek information or to express any concerns or suggestions that you have. Our goal is to improve communication within the church body.
Committee meeting minutes are available upon request. Please contact the church office.
