Killearn Kids Family Ministries Important News about Sunday Children's Programs

The format on Sunday mornings will be different this school year for our elementary students. At 9:30 we will continue to have our UpStreet experience as 50 - 75 children gather together for praise and worship, an interactive message from a story teller and small group time where kids take part in activities that help them apply what they have learned from the Bible story.
 
At 11:00 we have a small group of students that attend therefore we will follow a more traditional Sunday School model with the children staying in the classroom with their small group leaders. Our storyteller will come and share the message with them in their classroom setting.

We are still looking for a few more volunteers to serve with our preschoolers and elementary children at both hours. We have weekly and every other week positions available. Please contact Melanie, Ted or Melissa for further information.

• September 12th. Promotion Sunday for Elementary UpStreet 
• Kindergarteners need to be dropped off downstairs at Preschool UpStreet (only on Sept 12th) and picked up at Elementary UpStreet.
• On September 26th - All parents of kindergarteners are invited to attend UpStreet with their child. This will give you a chance to see what your children experience each week.
• September 19th - UpStreet Preschool  -– three year olds move from the nursery to Preschool UpStreet. (Child must be 3 by September 1st 2010 and potty trained)
• UpStreet Nursery is for babies 6 weeks of age through 2 year olds. Children that turn three after September 1st 2010 will remain in the nursery until next fall.

KUMC's 2nd Annual Tailgate Trivia

Save this date!  On October 13th KUMC's men will tailgate around the campus and then come together in the fellowship hall for a sports trivia challenge. Last year, Greg Dodge's USF team won first place and all of the prizes. Plan to sign up your team soon!  Look for more information on this page in the coming weeks.
