Director of Connection
Killearn UMC is currently seeking a full time Director of Connection. This person will lead all efforts to shepherd people into the life of the church—from their first time visit and beyond. Responsibilities include Prayer Ministries, Hospitality, Member Care, and other ministries as directed by the Ministerial Staff.
Spiritual gifts: Discernment, Mercy, service. Strong faith and prayer life. Listening skills, and ability to connect with people and adapt to different circumstances on a daily basis. Director of Operations
Killearn UMC is seeking a full time Director of Operations. This person supervises and direct all general scheduling, maintenance, and care for church facilities, vehicles, equipment, grounds, and parsonages. Responsibilities include property and facility management and calendars, vendors and service contracts, supervision of maintenance and cleaning staff, insurance contracts, phone system, Trustees liaison, and other duties as assigned.
Desired knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications:
Growing Christian faith as demonstrated by active participation in normal church activities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to supervise and relate well to people. Computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Community Church Builder, Outlook). Ability to develop and administer budget. High School graduate and three years related experience.
