Communion Server

Assist in serving the communion elements to the congregation. Volunteers typically assist 3-4 times per year in the 8 AM and 9:30 AM services as communion is served once per month. Volunteers typically assist 1-2 times per month in the 11 AM service, where communion is served each week. For more information, contact Leah Evanson at levanson@kumconline.org.

Connection Center Greeter

Greet guests at the Connection Centers, outside of the Sanctuary, as they arrive on Sunday morning - giving special attention to newcomers. Hand out welcome gifts as well as answer basic questions. Information about classes and Sunday morning activities are provided at each Connection Center. Volunteers sign up each week.

CG Operator

Each Sunday morning service includes presentation of lyrics, Scripture and sermon notes on the big screen. CG Operators simply move the slides along during the service, as cued by music and/or written notes. No experience is necessary, but it does help to have familiarity with the basic order of a worship service. Training is provided. Volunteers serve on a rotating schedule. Parking Lot & Sanctuary Greeter

Greet guests as they arrive in the parking lot and Sanctuary. Greeters serving in the Sanctuary doorways hand out copies of the bulletin to arriving families. Coffee Volunteer

Volunteers can serve in a variety of roles, including brewing coffee, set-up or clean-up. Volunteers also collect and record donations. Training is provided. Multiple shift types and times are available. For more information, contact Chris Smith at csmith@kumconline.org.
