We believe every child is made in the image of God. We want to create an environment where children are introduced to God and learn about God's great love for each one us through music, Bible stories, small group activities and discussion, and by building healthy relationships with each other and the adults who lead them. We believe we can have a greater impact on children when we partner with parents to present Christ in an age-appropriate way, help children grow in their faith, and equip them to eventually share their faith with others.

We care about you and your family. That's why we are hard at work to find ways we can stay connected during this difficult time. We want to equip you with fun and engaging resources for you and your kids to use on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

Rocky Railway Virtual VBS!

JUNE 22   |   Online

VBS is going to happen, safely at home! We will provide a link to the same centers your child would experience if they were able to attend VBS on our church campus, pre-recorded for viewing beginning Monday, June 22. You can have VBS wherever you are, on your time, in a way that fits your family's schedule. Contact Lori Simpson Keller, Director of Children's Ministries, or 850-445-8556, if you have questions.

First Time Guests

We would love to have you worship with us this Sunday! All of our programs are in the Wesley Building, located on the north side of the Sanctuary.

8 AM - Children begin worship with the adults in the Sanctuary and are dismissed half-way through to participate in Children’s Church for 30 minutes.

9:30 AM // 11 AM - Each age group from Nursery through 5th grade has age-appropriate Sunday School for the hour. Children are signed into the Wesley Building and picked up at their small group room.

We provide nursery care and Biblical teaching to children ages 6 weeks old through children who turn three on or before September 1. During all Sunday morning worship services, children are split up by their age in the nursery. Our paid nursery staff has been background screened and trained to provide age-appropriate activities for children.

In addition to learning about God, children who are walking get to play outside on the fenced-in playground. All of the children eat a snack, provided either by their parents or by the nursery staff. The nursery staff is very consistent; they have the opportunity to form relationships with your children and help them learn and grow.

Preschool - First Look

Everything we teach your preschoolers in First Look is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. Our programs are constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate Kindergarten they know these three basic truths:

God Made Me

God Loves Me

Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Each week, we send home a parent resource to share what your kids learned and our focus for the month.

For more information, contact Theresa Savage, or 850-893-1116.

Elementary - UpStreet

GRADES 1 - 4

Everything we teach in UpStreet is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.

I need to make the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our program is designed to provoke discovery and invite your kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. We do this through Large Group worship and teaching, and age-specific Small Group activities and discussion. Each week, we send home a parent resource to share what your kids learned and our focus for the month.

Elementary - The Bridge

We realize 5th graders are not quite little kids and not quite middle schoolers. We want to help 5th graders prepare to transition to Killearn Student Ministries by developing faith foundations, learning how to relate to God and the Church, engaging in faith traditions and discovering ways to live out their faith. At 9:30 AM, we offer 5th grade small groups for the entire hour, separate from the younger kids. At 11:00 AM, 4th and 5th graders are combined.

Killearn Kids Choir

We want to empower our kids to lead worship in song through our Children's Choir! The Choir meets on Sundays at 10:30 AM and enjoys a time of fellowship, fun, food and (of course) singing!

For more information, contact Charlette Snuggs at or Bill Gwaltney at

Acolytes and Crucifers

Children in third grade or older are invited to join our team of acolytes and crucifers, who help to open our 8 AM and 9:30 AM worship services! Simple training is available for new participants. For more information, contact Jennie Thompson at

MOPS and MOMSnext

Connect with a community of women who gather to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. MOMSnext is a similar community designed for meeting the needs of moms with school-aged children.
